This is our proposed itinerary that could change slightly if we learn of opportunities that would interest the group in any of our destinations.

May 31 Tue	MADRID	Breakfast, El Prado, Sorolla and Reina Sofia Art Museums, lunch, visit to El Retiro Park, Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor and city centre, dinner. Hotel or Airbnb. (some of these activities will be done on May 30^th – order will depend on the time everyone is in Madrid and ready to begin our adventure)
JUNE 1 Wed	TOLEDO – GRANADA	Breakfast, Morning trip to Toledo. Cathedral, Old Town tour, El Greco Museum, Alcazar, main churches and synagogues, Toledo Parador Scenic view, lunch. Evening trip to Granada. Check into hotel or AirBnB. Dinner. Optional, leisurely nighttime stroll. Hotel or Airbnb.
JUNE 2 Thur	GRANADA	Breakfast, La Alhambra guided tour, Albaicín, lunch, River Darro, Cathedral and Medina, dinner. Hotel or Airbnb. Optional night tour: Arabic baths visit & treatment
JUNE 3 Fri	CÓRDOBA	Breakfast, AM drive to Córdoba – La Mezquita and Medina Azahara, Lunch, City Stroll, Puente Romano, Christian-Muslim-Jewish quarters, dinner. Hotel or Airbnb.
JUNE 4 Sat	UBRIQUE	Breakfast, Drive to Ubrique, driving tour of Ubrique, lunch, meeting families/driving to homestays or lodging, Welcome Dinner @ Juan Carlos’ Campo (his home and permaculture farm) with homestay families invited, back to lodging.
JUNE 5 Sun	UBRIQUE	Rest in at accommodations or free time to explore on your own, optional hike, Walk a bit of the Roman road, Dinner El Parral in Benaocaz.
JUNE 6 Mon	UBRIQUE	AM Practical Spanish classes/alternative activity/exploring on your own. UBQ Scavenger Hunt (optional but highly recommended–to get to know the town and meet some locals 🙂) Lunch in town at Cristina PM walking tour of Ubrique
JUNE 7 Tue	UBRIQUE	AM Practical Spanish classes/alternative activity/exploring on your own. PM – El Bosque river walk, picnic lunch, Cheese factory & museum. Grazalema Park reception and intro. Possible cheese making experience
JUNE 8 Wed	UBRIQUE	AM Practical Spanish classes/alternative activity/exploring on your own. PM- Leather factory & museum. Lunch at Venta Ocuri & visit to Roman city of Ocuri. Evening: TBD
JUNE 9 Thur	UBRIQUE	AM- breakfast with churros & teachers. PM- Ruta Pueblos Blancos: Benaocaz-Villaluenga -Grazalema -Benamahoma-El Bosque (dinner)-back to Ubrique.
JUNE 10 Fri	UBRIQUE	AM- goodbye session PM – Farewell to Ubrique Dinner @ Juan Carlos’ Campo: paella (made by the paella master), games & activities, dip in the pool? music show by local group, Flamenco dance. Bonfire. Back to lodging.
JUNE 11 Sat	SEVILLA	AM to Sevilla. Arrival to hotel or Airbnb. Lunch, Old city, Bullfighting ring, Torre del Oro and River Guadalquivir stroll. Group Dinner by the river. Hotel or Airbnb.
JUNE 12 Sun	SEVILLA	Breakfast, Walking Gothic Cathedral, Giralda Tower and Reales Alcázares, lunch, tour of Barrio de Santa Cruz, Indian Archives. Walk to Plaza España and María Luisa Gardens. Evening Flamenco show (Flamenco Museum). Farewell dinner. Hotel or Airbnb.
JUNE 13 Mon	TRIP HOME/ BARCELONA?? Some have requested to go to Barcelona, and we could add an optional 3-day extension to the trip, if there are enough interested travelers	Breakfast, Drive to Sevilla Airport or Train Station

*As an option, we could take a beach day trip or overnight trip to Cádiz instead of one of the days/nights in Ubrique. (Based on group preferences)

Ground transportation during trip – beginning with airport pickup in Madrid (May 30^th) and ending with drop-off at Sevilla airport or train station on (June 13^th)
All entrance fees & some professional guided tours
Local Spanish/Spanish-speaking Guide (Juan Carlos)
Practical, fun Spanish classes or interesting alternative activities for those who prefer not to take Spanish classes while in Ubrique
Many hours of informal learning and experiencing including: Spanish, local culture and history, nature, local dishes, local products, wines, and much more
Personalized travel service
24-hour availability of ELC staff in case of emergencies

Trip price does not include:

Airfare and all air travel related fees
Airfare or train fare back to Madrid or chosen international departure city (from Sevilla on June 13^th)
Alcohol (accept during welcome and farewell dinners at Juan Carlos’ Campo)
Incidentals and personal items
Laundry services
Non-group meals
Additional transportation needs
Travel insurance (recommended)
Optional Tour: Arabic Bath visit and treatment
Barcelona trip extension

Payment details:

$500 non-refundable fee reserves your spot
Final payment due May 15^th
In the unlikely event that the trip would have to be cancelled by ELC for any reason, all payments previously paid, including the $500 non-refundable fee, will be refunded to those travelers who have paid them
